About this site in English Language.
This site about Danish Wave Energy is for the time being only available in Danish. To give you an idea about the content of the site, some of the main subject are explained in short.
Forside means Front page. The choices are News, Bølgekraftforeningen - Association for the Promotion of Wave Energy, The Wave Energy Programme, Links, In English, About this site.
Teknik means Technology and contains information about types of wave energy converters, 'Danske anlæg' - the most promising Danish wave energy converters, 'Udenlandske anlæg' - non-Danish wave energy converters, 'Afprøvningsfaciliteter' means test facilities and describes the four Danish institutes for testing wave energy converters, 'Bølgernes energi' - Energy from waves (physics).
Tilskud can be translated to Funding. Covers a more detailed description of the possibilities of governmental support of development of wave energy converters called the Wave Energy Programme, as well as the aim of the Programme. There is also and introduction to wave energy programmes in other countries and in the EEC.
Rapporter means reports. 'Generelt om bølgekraft' contains reports from the Danish Wave Energy Programme, 'Afprøvningsrapporter' means test reports.
The former Danish Wave Energy Programme
You can read about the former Danish Wave Energy Programme in three papers, the newest one presented at the Fourth European Wave Energy Conference, Aalborg University, Denmark, December 4-6, 2000. The two other papers were presented at the third conference wave energy conference, held in Patras, Greece, in 1998.
